I hadn't been to a Rod Stewart concert in decades, but I now realize why he has maintained such longevity. Rod's performance radiates CLASS! He was incredibly gracious, even apologizing for the concert delay from April, assuring us it would be worth the wait. After a brief opening set, he announced that the show would continue for at least another two hours. The band was exceptionally talented, and both their stage presence and attire were reminiscent of a high-end Vegas show... ABSOLUTE TOP NOTCH! The Motown tribute was a highlight for me, as was Rod's insights into some of his songs. In my opinion, Rod is the epitome of a seasoned performer, and I am determined to catch his show again.
